VT HOLDINGS CO., LTD. was established in 1983 as HONDA VERNO TOKAI CO., LTD. and started life at the Tokai Shop of HONDA VERNO TOKAI CO., LTD. The process of beating tough competition despite entering the Japanese automobile dealer market much later than many of its competitors has helped the company to establish unique knowhow as a group of automobile sales professionals. This knowhow includes sales methods that accurately identify customer needs without being constrained by the accepted wisdom.

Later, the company expanded the scope of its M&A to become one of the largest automobile dealer groups in Japan, and aims to pursue further growth.
